When the original Avengers were decimated by the Scarlet Witch, a program buried inside of the android known as the Vision was put into effect. The next generation of Avengers was sought out and ever since this group has been known as the Young Avengers. With the death of the original team at the hands of the Chrell, a new group was formed due to new events. Taking the name Young Avengers, they are just as brave as any that have come before them!

History

The Founding

John Nuzzolillo (Iron Lad), his cousin James Flemmi (Spider-Boy), and their friend Melody McGinley (Spider-Girl) formed the Young Avengers together. John had been working on a science project, a suit for hazard work environments, which was stolen en route to a science fair for gifted teenagers. John went to find his Uncle Julius for help but instead found his cousin, James. Together the two discovered the location of the suit in the process revealing James to be Spider-Boy. Recruiting their mutual friend Melody the trio raided the AIM smuggling facility retrieving the Iron Lad armor. After their adventure the three formed the Young Avengers.
