Zann Mave was a member of the Mandalorians on Shogun during the early part of the New Mandalorian Crusade. Specializing in heavy weapons, he was a worthy adversary to Mandalore Cadden Blackthorne and his Mandalorian Protectors, but ultimately his addition to the Shogun militia was futile, and even his forces were defeated in combat.
Zann was adopted into the Protectors with the other survivors upon the Mandalorians' surrender to the Protectors, and became an alor'ad (captain) of the Black Brigade. He was responsible for leading 75 shock troopers in heavy weapons ordinance and support operations.
Zann was most notably described as a large, burly individual with a no-nonsense attitude. He took his missions seriously, and did not tolerate idle chit-chat among his followers. While he was an intimidating individual, he did not often exercise physical authority over his comrades.
